What is the difference between a webinar and online training ?

SALES DEPARTMENT

 

What happens when a customer arrives at the dealership ?

  • The receptionist directs customers to the on-duty salesperson based on a daily rotation schedule established by the sales manager.

  • This system ensures equal customer distribution.

  • Each salesperson typically meets 12 to 15 customers per week.

How are sales consultants paid ?
 

  • Most dealerships offer a base salary between $7,500 and $12,500 annually, plus commissions.

  • Example of a commission-based sale:

  • Vehicle sale price: $25,000

  • Average gross profit margin: 8%–12%

  • Example at 10%: $25,000 × 10% = $2,500 gross profit
    $2,500 × 20% commission = $500 commission

     

How many can you sell ?

  • In general, during the first year, the objective is approximately 2 sales per week, for a total of around 100 vehicles sold in the first year.


How much can you earn by the end of the year ?

  • Based on the results of our graduates, you could expect to earn between
    $65,000 and $105,000 in your first year.

FINANCE MANAGER (F&I)

How does it work when a customer buys a vehicle ?

  • When a customer purchases a vehicle (new or used), they must meet with a Finance Manager (F&I).

  • Typically, there are 2 to 3 Finance Managers per dealership, and the system works on a rotation basis, ensuring fairness among all F&I managers.


How is a Finance Manager (F&I) paid ?

  • Generally, dealerships offer a base salary starting at $15,000 per year (optional).

  • You are then paid commission based on the profit generated from the products sold.

  • Example of a commission-based sale:

  • Financing at 4.9% = rebate

  • Extended warranty = rebate

  • Rustproofing = rebate

  • Total rebate: approximately $1,250 × 18% commission rate

  • For this deal at delivery, you would earn: $1,250 × 18% = $225.50

  • You are paid based on the volume of clients you handle annually.

  • Based on our graduates, in your first year, you could expect to earn between $75,000 and $125,000.



GENERAL EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS


Do you have to work 60 hours per week ?
 

  • No. Typically, the sales manager will provide a schedule based on 37 to 42 hours per week on the floor.

  • However, you are free to work more if you wish, it’s your business !

Are you self-employed ?

  • No. You are an employee, paid weekly or biweekly, and all deductions and contributions are taken directly from your gross income.


Do you get time off and vacation ?

  • Yes. You have days off based on your schedule, as well as annual vacation time.


Is a high school diploma required ?

  • No. It is not mandatory.


Why do I need a valid driver's licence ?

  • Because as part of your role, you will be required to conduct test drives with clients and move vehicles around the dealership lot.
